In any situation where you will be using your 72 hour kit will most likely involve someone getting hurt (in my house we can’t even last a day without someone getting hurt and there isn’t any emergency, most of the time). Basic first aid supplies like band-aids or gauze and tape would be extremely important. Also if you or a member of your family are on a daily medication make sure to include enough for at least 3 days (preferably more). This medication will need to be rotated regularly or the effectiveness will diminish.
